Irlanda is a practicum student in counselling psychology who is passionate about holistic mental health access at all ages. She views each person as a complex universe unto themselves, and recognizes the importance of integrating people’s support systems, cultural values, passions, and interests when supporting them. Irlanda believes in meaningful connections as a powerful tool for clients to connect with their truest self. Irlanda works from the approaches of attachment theory, narrative theory, and positive psychology. Her background in neuropsychology drives her to integrate the mind and body’s natural processes in understanding and addressing trauma.
